How do I use SlideTutor?
Import your presentation slides or handouts, pick an AI digital tutor, prepare or generate your lesson script, and tap record/generate. Your digital tutor will present your slides and explain the concepts directly on camera.

Do I need an internet connection?
No. SlideTutor runs fully on-device. There is no cloud backend, no account requirement, and no lecture content is sent to any server.

Are my slides, scripts, or video lessons uploaded?
Never. Your slides, scripts, recordings, and settings stay strictly on your device. SlideTutor does not operate servers that receive or process this data.

Who are the digital tutors?
All tutors in SlideTutor are virtual, fictional characters rendered by an on-device avatar engine. They are not real people and do not represent any individual.

Core Commitment: We respect your privacy. SlideTutor collects no personal data and transmits nothing off your device.

1. What Data We Collect
Short answer: We collect no personally identifiable information (PII).
The core experience runs entirely offline and requires no account or internet connection. Therefore:

• ❌ We do not collect your precise location.
• ❌ We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.
• ❌ We do not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. How Data is Stored
All data generated by the app is stored locally on your device:

• 📱 Stored within your device using Apple's native sandboxing.
• 🔐 Inaccessible to other apps or network services.
• 🗑️ Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all related local records and saved lectures.

3. Device Permissions
SlideTutor requests only the permissions it needs to deliver the tutoring experience:

• 🎤 Microphone — to record your voiceover or audio explanations when presenting with your avatar tutor.
• 📷 Camera — optional, only if you enable picture-in-picture mode or present alongside your digital tutor; off by default.
• 📸 Photo Library (add-only) — only when you save exported lecture videos to your Camera Roll.
• 🚫 No Local Network permission is required (the avatar runs via an in-app local resource scheme, not a network service).

4. Purchases
SlideTutor Pro is a one-time unlock (no subscription). Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store; we never see or store your payment information.

5. Children's Privacy
SlideTutor is an educational and content-creation tool intended for general audiences. It must not be used to create unlawful content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

6. Availability
SlideTutor is not offered on the App Store in mainland China. This policy is provided for users in other supported regions.

7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy to comply with the latest App Store guidelines. Updated policies will be published on this page; continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.

By downloading, installing, or using SlideTutor (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, educational, and non-commercial content creation purposes.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 4 years old to use SlideTutor. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SlideTutor to:

• Create sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors;
• Create illegal content, including but not limited to violence, self-harm, or the facilitation of illegal acts;
• Create hate speech, harassment, defamation, or targeted abuse;
• Jailbreak, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the App;
• Violate the laws, educational standards, or platform policies of any region where you publish your video lessons.

5. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimer of Responsibility
SlideTutor's digital avatars are produced by an artificial-intelligence-driven rendering engine running locally on your device. Accordingly:

• The developer is not the author of content created with the App and is not liable for it. You are solely responsible for the slides you import, the scripts you write, and the video lessons you export and publish.
• All digital tutors are virtual, fictional characters and do not represent real individuals.
• SlideTutor is a teaching aid and content-creation tool and is not a substitute for formal, professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App (excluding your own imported slides and authored scripts) is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App code or assets without prior written consent. You retain all rights to the final lecture videos you create.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-rendered speech/explanations will always be factually correct.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any reliance on AI-generated lecture content.

9. Third-Party Services
In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store. We are not responsible for Apple's availability, privacy practices, or terms.

10. Changes & Termination
We may modify these Terms at any time. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or upon request from Apple or regulatory authorities.
